The useful parts aren't one tier up
This list is identical on Solo, Crew and Crew Pro. A solo operator who can't set their own prices or put their own logo on an invoice doesn't have a product.
Getting paid
- Unlimited invoices — not a limit we've set high, a limit we don't have
- A finished job becomes a draft invoice in one tap, with customer, property, services and pricing carried over
- Branded invoice PDF emailed to the customer with a pay link
- Your customer pays by card on a page that needs no login, no account and no app
- Status tracks itself: Sent, Viewed, Partial, Overdue, Paid
- Automatic email payment reminders
- Record cash, checks and partial payments by hand; balances recalculate
- Refund a card payment, send a receipt, export the payment ledger to CSV
Winning the work
- Talk-to-Estimate — speak the job on your phone, get priced line items matched against your own Price List, uncapped on every plan
- A starter catalog of 50+ landscaping services, priced and ready at signup
- Estimates emailed as a branded PDF, tracked through Sent, Viewed, Accepted, Declined
- Accepted estimate converts to a job, an invoice, or both
- Lead pipeline — new, contacted, qualified, converted — with one-tap conversion to a customer
Running the day
- One-time and recurring jobs: weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or a custom pattern
- Calendar by day, week or month, plus the daily job list
- Weather on the schedule, and batch rain-day rescheduling — on Solo too
- Job photos, before and after, and job notes
- Drag-and-drop reschedule; change one instance of a recurring job without touching the rest
Your customers, your brand
- Unlimited customers, each with as many properties as they own
- Gate codes, access notes and job instructions on the property, so the crew doesn't call you
- Customer timeline of every job, invoice, payment, estimate and note, plus outstanding balance and revenue per customer
- Bulk CSV import — untiered, so switching costs you nothing on day one
- Your company name, logo, contact details and brand colour on every document, across six templates
- Custom invoice footer, your own numbering, terms and due-days, and unlimited named tax rates
- Unlimited email automation — job and payment reminders, completion notices, receipts, estimate follow-ups — with landscaping templates and your own
Seats
Seats are the only thing we count
One flat price covers your whole crew up to the plan's cap. Not $29 and then $29 again for each person you hire.
Several tools in this category bill per user on top of the plan price, so a three-person crew is the subscription plus two seats. Here a three-person crew is $59 — and that's the whole bill.
The caps
Solo is 1 user. Crew is 3. Crew Pro is 6 — counting you.
No add-ons
If you outgrow a cap, you move up a tier. That's the only lever, and you can see what it costs before you pull it.
Someone leaves
Deactivate them and the seat comes back.
Changing plans
Upgrading takes effect immediately, prorated. Downgrading takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for.
Bigger than six
Crews larger than six aren't a fit for Okason yet. We'd rather tell you that here than after you've paid.
Payment processing
What we charge to process a payment
Nothing.
Card payments run through Stripe at Stripe's published rate, and Okason takes nothing on top, on any plan. No platform fee, no percentage that appears at a higher volume, and no tier where the rate gets better because you're paying us more. You pay the processor what the processor charges. That's the whole arrangement.
Why the "free" apps aren't
A free plan in this category is usually funded by a surcharge added on top of the processor's rate — a percentage of every payment your customer makes. It scales with your revenue, so it costs you most in the months you earn most, and it never appears on the pricing page as a number you can budget against.
Okason charges a subscription instead. The surcharge is zero on every plan, monthly or annual, at any volume.
Do the arithmetic on your own numbers
Take what you collect by card in an average month, multiply it by the surcharge your current app adds, and compare that to $29. We won't print a competitor's rate here — those change without notice, and a stale figure helps nobody. Look up what yours charges today and run it.
The trial
Try everything first. No card.
14 days
Every feature unlocked
At Crew Pro level, including all six seats. Not a stripped-down version of the product.
No card
And no plan to choose
You create an account and you're in the app. Decide after you've sent a real invoice, not before you've seen one.
Kept
Your data is yours, permanently
If the trial ends unsubscribed, the account goes read-only — everything stays visible and is never deleted. Subscribe whenever you're ready and it all comes back.
No free tier
Afterwards
We'd rather charge a fair price than fund a free plan with a cut of your payments.
Switching from another app?
Moving off Yardbook, LawnBuddy or a spreadsheet — we'll do the heavy part with you.
- We import your client data for you, free, on a 15-minute onboarding call
- Your first month is 50% off — $29.50 on Crew
- We'll run the processing-fee comparison with you before you commit
How much does landscaping software cost?
Okason is $29, $59 or $99 a month depending on how many people need a login, or $290, $590 and $990 a year. Across the category, small-crew tools sit well below enterprise field-service platforms — but compare the whole bill, not the headline. The cheap end and the free end often make the difference back through a surcharge on every payment you collect, which doesn't show up until you're already using it.
Is there a free plan?
No, and that's deliberate. Free plans in this category are usually funded by a cut of every payment you collect, added on top of the processor's own rate. We charge a subscription and take nothing on your payments. You get 14 days of the full product, no card, to decide whether that trade is a good one.
Do I pay per user?
No. The plan price covers everyone up to the cap — 1 on Solo, 3 on Crew, 6 on Crew Pro, counting you. There are no per-seat add-ons to buy; the only way past a cap is the next tier, at a price you can see right now.
What happens when my trial ends?
If you haven't subscribed, the account goes read-only. Your customers, jobs, estimates, invoices and payment history all stay there — you just can't create or send new ones. Nothing is deleted, and subscribing at any point restores full access.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. You create an account and go straight into the app. Billing details are only asked for at the moment you decide to subscribe.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated for the rest of the billing period. Downgrades take effect at the end of the period you've already paid for. Monthly and annual work the same way.
What does Okason charge on payments?
Nothing. Card payments run at Stripe's published rate and we add no markup on any plan — no platform fee, no surcharge, on any tier.
Which plan should I start on?
If you're the only person who needs a login, Solo. If someone else needs to see the schedule on their own phone, Crew. If you're at four or more people, or you bill customers on a recurring service agreement, Crew Pro. The trial runs at Crew Pro level either way, so you can try the crew features before you decide.
Is annual cheaper?
Yes — two months free. Crew is $590 a year instead of $708, a saving of $118.
What if my crew is bigger than six?
Okason isn't the right fit yet. Six is a hard cap, not a soft one, and we'd rather say so on the pricing page than after you've paid. Tell us your crew size anyway — that demand is how a larger tier gets built.
Try it for two weeks. Decide after.
Every feature, all six seats, no credit card. If it doesn't earn its $29 in the first month, you'll know long before you've paid anything.
